ESS Technology provides a lot of technology support for over 200 staff reporting to the Vice President and Associate Provost. Staff can submit tickets for service, search the knowledge base for frequently asked questions, and access an up-to-date Staff Directory.
ESS provides leadership for and connection to several other functions:
- University-Community Initiatives – Michigan State University is proud of the active partnership with our host community, the City of East Lansing. A full range of information and programs effecting students within East Lansing are provided through the Community Liaison and College Life: East Lansing.
- The Family Resource Center provides work-life programs for students, faculty and staff. This university-wide program reports administratively through Student Affairs and Educational and Support Services.
- Student Affairs actively partners with the Higher Adult and Lifelong Education (HALE) program in the College of Education, in providing leadership for the Student Affairs Administration practicum, and the undergraduate leadership course, EAD 315.
